At the recent Health Networks Generic Congress, I delivered a presentation on the topic of “An Industry Observer’s Perspective on Cost Containment and Procurement of Generics”.

The aim of the presentation was to examine the inconsistent way that authorities across Europe price and purchase generics.

The presentation came to the conclusion that, in some countries, governments appear to see generics as part of the problem rather than part of the solution.
